Privacy Policy

The short version. Truemark has no account, no advertising and no tracking across other apps. Your settings, your bender values and your saved jobs stay on your phone. Two things leave the device: a subscription purchase, handled by Apple, Google and RevenueCat, and anonymous usage statistics that tell us which screens get used — never your measurements, never your jobs.

1. Who we are

Truemark ("the app") is made by heyisoft, a sole developer based in İzmir, Türkiye. You can reach us at heyisoft@gmail.com.

2. What stays on your phone

All of it. The app stores the following locally, using the operating system's own preference storage:

your unit, precision, language, theme and motion settings;
your bender model and any take-up or radius you measured yourself;
jobs you saved, including the measurements you typed and which bender was selected at the time.

None of this is uploaded anywhere. Deleting the app deletes it. There is no backup on our side, which also means we cannot restore it for you.

3. Sensors

The digital level reads the phone's accelerometer. The reading is used to draw the angle on screen and is never stored or transmitted. The app does not use the camera, the microphone, your location, your contacts or your photos.

4. Subscriptions

Truemark Pro is an auto-renewing subscription. When you subscribe:

Apple or Google takes the payment and holds the billing details. We never see your card, your address or your name.
RevenueCat (our subscription provider) receives the store receipt and an anonymous app user ID that the SDK generates on the device. It uses them to tell the app whether the subscription is active. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.

That anonymous ID is not linked to an account, an e-mail address or an advertising identifier, because the app has none of those.

5. Sharing and printing

When you share a drawing or a cut sheet, the file is handed to your operating system's own share sheet or printer and goes wherever you send it. The app does not upload it and keeps no copy after you close the screen.

6. Usage statistics

The app uses Google Analytics for Firebase to count how the app is used, so we know which calculators are worth improving and where people get stuck. See Firebase's privacy documentation.

What is recorded is the shape of the session, never its content:

which screen was opened, and in what order;
that a result was opened, saved, copied, shared or printed — but never the numbers themselves;
which bender model is selected and whether you measured your own take-up — the model, not your measurement;
unit, language and theme settings;
that the subscription screen was shown, which lock opened it, and whether a purchase started, completed, was cancelled or failed;
an app instance identifier generated on the device, plus the standard technical fields Firebase collects: device model, operating system version, country (derived from IP, which is not stored) and app version.

It does not record the measurements you type, the jobs you save, your name, your e-mail address or your location. The app requests no advertising identifier — the Android AD_ID permission is explicitly removed from the package, and ad personalisation signals are switched off on iOS. Nothing is shared with data brokers and nothing is used to track you across other companies' apps or websites.

There is still no advertising SDK and no crash reporter. All of it is queued on the device and sent when there is a connection, so the app keeps working in a basement with no signal — statistics wait, the calculators do not.

7. Children

Truemark is a professional trade tool. It is not directed at children, and the usage statistics described above contain no personal data from anyone, including children.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR, the Turkish KVKK and similar laws you have the right to access, correct and erase your personal data. In practice: the app holds your data on your own device, so you already have all of it, and uninstalling erases it. For purchase records, contact Apple, Google or RevenueCat — they are the holders. For usage statistics, write to us and we will delete the app instance identifier that holds them; there is no other way to identify you in that data. If you want us to confirm any of this in writing, write to the address above.

9. Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it and the new version is published here before the app version that needs it ships.
