Before you write about a wrong result

It helps a lot if you tell us what the app said, what you think your dog meant, and roughly how the recording was made — how close the phone was, whether anything else was making noise. That is usually enough for us to reproduce it.

Deleting your data — Dog Translator by heyisoft

Almost everything Dog Translator knows lives on your phone. To remove all of it at once, open Settings → Your data → Erase all my data in the app. That deletes dog profiles, the diary, chat history, personal sound labels, recordings and photos immediately and for good — recordings are never uploaded, so there is no copy anywhere else.

Three services hold a small amount of data that the in-app action cannot reach. To have that deleted, e-mail heyisoft@gmail.com with the subject “Data deletion — Dog Translator”. If you had a subscription, add the store order number so we can find the record. We confirm within 30 days.

WhatDeletedKept
Everything on your device — profiles, diary, chat, recordings, photos, settings Immediately, by you, from inside the app Nothing
Anonymous usage and crash events (Firebase Analytics / Crashlytics) On request, within 30 days Otherwise deleted automatically under Firebase's retention setting, at most 14 months
Subscription receipt and the anonymous install identifier (RevenueCat) On request, within 30 days While a subscription is active, and afterwards only as long as tax and accounting law requires
Advertising identifier and ad interactions (Google AdMob) Reset or delete the advertising ID in your device settings at any time Held by Google, not by us; we cannot link it to you

Uninstalling the app removes the on-device data too, but it does not send us a deletion request — write to us if you want the three items above removed as well.
