Privacy Policy

● The short version. MakeDay has no accounts and no cloud. Everything you record — what you tracked, how much, your notes, your limits — stays on your phone. Anything read from Apple Health stays there too and is never transmitted. The only things that leave the device are anonymous usage statistics and the fact of a subscription — never what you track, what you wrote, or anything from Apple Health. The usage statistics can be switched off in Settings.

1. Who we are

MakeDay ("the app") is developed and published by heyisoft ("we", "us"). For any privacy matter, write to heyisoft@gmail.com.

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers the MakeDay application for iOS and this website. It explains what the app handles, where it is processed, and the choices you have.

3. Information the app handles

4. What we do not collect

Never what you track. No tracker names, no amounts, no notes, no dates — none of your records leave the phone, and none of them appear in analytics.
Never anything from Apple Health. Health data is read on the device, written into your own records, and never transmitted to us or anyone else.
No account, e-mail address, name or phone number — the app has no sign-up.
No contacts, files and no photos, and the app never asks for Location Services or reads your position. Firebase does infer an approximate region — country or city — from the network address the analytics request arrives on, and that is the only sense in which location is involved. It stops when you switch analytics off.
No advertising, no advertising identifiers, no ad networks, and nothing is ever sold.

5. Analytics, and how to switch it off

To keep improving the app we use Google Firebase Analytics. It records anonymous events about how the app is used — a screen opened, a report viewed, a limit created, the purchase screen shown — together with basic technical data such as device model, operating-system version, app version and the approximate region the request came from. Where an event needs to say what kind of thing was involved, it carries a category ("health", "money") and a measurement type ("count", "duration"), never the tracker itself and never a value.

This is used in aggregate. It is not tied to your name or an account (there is none) and it is never sold. Firebase is covered by Firebase's privacy terms and Google's Privacy Policy.

You can turn it off. Open Settings in the app and switch off Anonymous usage stats; nothing further is collected or sent from that moment on. The app works exactly the same either way.

6. Permissions the app asks for

Apple Health — optional. Read-only, and only the types listed above. You choose type by type, and you can change your mind at any time in the Health app. Refusing it costs you nothing but a little typing.
Notifications — optional. Only for the daily reminder you set yourself. Reminders are scheduled on the device; nothing is sent through any server.

7. Device backups

Because your records live on the device, they may be included in the backup you control (iCloud or a local encrypted backup), encrypted by Apple. We never receive that backup and have no way to read it.

8. Legal bases (GDPR / KVKK)

Performance of contract — running the app you installed, storing your records on your device, and providing Premium if you buy it.
Consent — reading Apple Health, which you grant type by type and can withdraw at any time.
Legitimate interests — anonymous analytics to keep the app working and improve it, which you can switch off in Settings.

9. Retention

Everything on your device stays until you delete it — a record at a time, a tracker at a time, or all at once with Settings → Your data → Delete all data — or until you uninstall the app.
Analytics data is retained by Google under Firebase's own retention settings.
Purchase records are held by Apple under Apple's terms, and subscription status by RevenueCat under RevenueCat's privacy policy.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and Turkish KVKK) you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export or object to the processing of your personal data. Because essentially everything lives on your device, the most direct tools are in the app itself: Settings → Your data → Export as CSV gives you a copy of everything, and Delete all data beside it removes it for good. For anything else, write to heyisoft@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.

11. Children

MakeDay is a general-audience app and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly process children's data.

12. Changes

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
