Terms of Use

● The short version. MakeDay is free to record with, and has no account. Premium is an auto-renewing subscription that unlocks the analysis — limits and goals on every tracker, and the whole report. Every plan starts with a 3-day free trial. It is a personal record-keeping app, not a medical device, and it does not give health advice.

1. Agreement

By installing or using MakeDay ("the app") you agree to these terms. The app is provided by heyisoft. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. What the app is

MakeDay records what you choose to record — how much water you drank, how long you worked, what you spent — keeps it on your device, follows the limits and goals you set, and reports it back to you by day, week, month and year. It can also read a small set of types from Apple Health, with your permission, so you do not have to type them twice.

3. What the app is not

Not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat or monitor any condition. A limit you set on cigarettes or alcohol is a line you drew, not clinical advice.
Not financial advice. Spending and savings trackers are a record, nothing more.
Not a backup service. Your records live on your device. Keep your device backed up, and use Export as CSV if a copy matters to you.

4. Your responsibilities

Keep your device backed up. If you delete the app or lose the device without a backup, the records are gone — there is no copy on our side to restore.
Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, resell or redistribute the app.
Use the app for your own record-keeping.

5. Premium, prices and renewal

Recording is free: every tracker, unlimited records, reminders, colours, Apple Health and CSV export, plus two limits or goals, on whichever trackers you choose — the app fills those two slots for you and you can move either one onto something else at any time.
MakeDay Premium unlocks limits and goals on every tracker, the whole report, and the standing of every limit. It is offered weekly, monthly or yearly; the current prices are shown on the purchase screen in your own currency, and were $0.99 / $2.99 / $29.99 at the time of writing.
A 3-day free trial is offered on each of the three plans, to anyone who has not used it before. Nothing is charged during those three days. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it converts to a paid subscription at the price shown, charged to your Apple Account. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited if you buy a subscription before it ends, and the trial is available once — moving between plans does not start a second one.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings at any time. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the current period runs to its end.
Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store terms, not by us.
If prices change, the new price applies from your next renewal and you will be told before it takes effect.

6. Apple Health

If you allow it, MakeDay reads a limited set of Apple Health types and writes them into your own records. It never writes to Apple Health, never transmits health data anywhere, and never includes it in analytics. You can withdraw any of it at any time in the Health app.

7. Content and ownership

Your records are yours. The app itself — its design, text and code — remains the property of heyisoft.

8. Availability

We aim to keep the app working but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and operating-system updates may temporarily break things. We may change or discontinue features.

9. Disclaimer and liability

The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, heyisoft is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including any decision you make on the basis of what it shows you, or any loss of records. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live.

11. Changes

We may update these terms as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date.
